STREET MACHINES AUTO CARE, INC.
Located on the historic Route 6 west for the past 29 years, Street Machines Auto Care, Inc. was established in 1979 by owner James A. Tilley. The first building was located in Sweden Valley and had no doors, no heat and no electricity. With hard work and determination, Mr. Tilleys' business grew and he was able to upgrade and moved his entire shop to sixth street, next to the former Coudersport Dairy in Coudersport, PA. With his business and reputation growing, Street Machines found itself needing some more space so in 1984, Jim and his staff moved once more to the former Lincoln building, near the current Coudersport Elememtary School. In 1987, Mr. Tilley was approached by a friend with an exciting offer for a new building on Route 6 west. Jim took the offer and with his family and loyal customers' help, the business became what it is today, an established and well-respected institution.
